Glazing options

Triple glazing

Choosing glass for your home

Three panes and two sealed gaps for higher insulation.

  • Triple glazing

Worth considering on exposed elevations, north-facing rooms, or where you want quieter rooms next to a busy road. Heavier and thicker than double glazing, so we check the frame and opening can take it at survey before we specify it.

FAQs

Frequently asked
questions

01When is triple glazing worth having?

Double glazing is the usual choice for most replacements. Triple glazing is worth considering on a cold or exposed elevation, a north-facing room, or somewhere next to a busy road. It is heavier, so we check the opening can take it before we specify it.

02What if I need privacy or safety glass?

We can specify obscure glass for bathrooms and overlooked rooms, and toughened or laminated glass where the opening needs safety glazing. Decorative glass is an option too, where you want more character in the pane. We'll say what each opening needs on the survey.
